Chances of showers and storms aren’t great Saturday, but there is a risk of borderline severe storms areawide.
The Storm Prediction Center has a marginal severe weather risk currently posted. Storms could bring winds up to 60 mph and hail to the size of quarters.
Regardless of whether we get rainfall, Saturday will be hot with a high temperature around 97. Highs could be in the 90s from Friday until at least Tuesday — and Wednesday could see the first triple-digit day of the summer with a forecast high of 100.
