Cars, trucks, motorcycles — even a bus and a tractor — were part of the fourth annual Rod’n 4 JC event at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church on Sunday.
Pastor Kent Happel was pleased to see at least 30 vehicles on hand for the event.
Among those displaying vehicles was Terry Powell from Council Grove. He brought a 1955 Chevrolet and says the love of classic cars runs deep in his family.
In addition to the car show, residents could enjoy barbecue and ice cream, while kids could take part in Hot Wheels races.
Proceeds are pending and will go to random acts of kindness projects through the church, which is also planning an Oktoberfest event this fall. Details will be announced later this year.
