(kcchiefs) Kansas City Chiefs Coach Andy Reid has been named the top coach in the NFL by Pro football focus.
Reid, who joined the Chiefs ahead of the 2013 campaign, has led Kansas City to the most regular-season victories 117 and the second-most playoff wins 12 of any team in the NFL over the last 10 seasons.
That stretch includes an active streak of eight-consecutive postseason berths – the longest active streak in the league by four years – and seven-straight AFC West titles.
Reid’s 247 regular-season victories rank fifth all-time while his 22 playoff wins rank second, trailing only Bill Belichick with 31.
The ESPY will be awarded by a fan vote. Voting is now open and Chiefs Kingdom can cast their vote for “Best Team” between now and 7 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 9 at www.espn.com/espys.
