Court processes are pending after an arrest in Madison last week on alleged sexual exploitation activity.
On Wednesday, Greenwood County deputies say they executed a search warrant, leading to the arrest of Adam Ray on allegations of sexually exploiting a child and aggravated internet trading in child pornography. Ray now faces five total counts, one for aggravated internet trading and four of exploitation.
Documents on the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal indicate Ray had explicit materials involving children with four different file names when he was arrested last week. Two exploitation counts involve at least one victim at or below age 2. The other two counts involve at least one victim between ages 14-17.
The internet trading count alleges Ray knowingly caused or permitted “visual performances” to be viewed by anybody who wasn’t Ray or the alleged victims if other people were connected to the internet.
Court dates are currently pending.
