After temperatures around 90 degrees for the weekend, there will be a quick increase in temperatures into the Fourth of July holiday before another cooldown.
Temperatures Monday will be in the mid-90s and upper 90s for the holiday on Tuesday. There are also slight chances of showers and storms both days, with a marginal severe weather risk involving wind and hail for late Tuesday night.
Showers and storms are at least possible through the upcoming weekend, and Wednesday will see a good chance of storms for the afternoon and evening, a slight severe weather risk and notably cooler temperatures as highs top out in the upper 80s. Low to mid-80s will be the high temperatures to close out the work week, with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s for the weekend.
