One man faces charges of rape and child sexual exploitation in Lyon County District Court.
Travis Dean Iverson faces 13 total counts, 12 of which are for alleged exploitation, and the charges represent three different periods of alleged wrongdoing.
Iverson has one rape count and one exploitation count for alleged activity with a child under the age of 13 dating back to July 2021. Four exploitation counts accuse Iverson of illegal activity in mid-November 2022. The remaining seven counts alleged illegal activity with a child under the age of 18 this past December.
Iverson’s preliminary hearing in this case is Aug. 24.
Iverson had been facing 11 total counts for exploitation during the same times, but those charges have been dismissed.
Iverson also has a separate court process underway. He faces two counts of aggravated violations of the state’s offender registry act for failing to comply between March 2022 and this past May. A pretrial in that case is coming July 28.
