A Wichita woman was hurt in a rollover crash on the Kansas Turnpike southwest of Emporia on Wednesday.
Bailee Rianne Hickle, 22, was taken to Newman Regional Health with suspected serious injuries following the crash near mile marker 107 just before noon.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says Hickle was southbound when her car went off the highway and hit an embankment. Hickle’s car went airborne and rolled at least twice before it stopped.
It is unclear why Hickle’s car left the highway.

An investigation is underway after an injury crash southwest of Emporia on Wednesday.
The crash happened on the Kansas Turnpike at mile marker 108, nearly 20 miles southwest of the Emporia gate. Details have not been announced, but Emporia Fire/EMS says it transported one person to Newman Regional Health for observation and possible treatment.
