A motions hearing is ahead Thursday as a Lyon County attempted murder case moves forward.
Matthew Schroeder is approaching trial later this month and has a motions hearing at 2 pm Thursday. Schroeder faces a single count of attempted first-degree murder, with an alternate count of aggravated domestic battery. He also faces a count of aggravated kidnapping with an alternate of criminal restraint and one count of aggravated battery.
Charges follow an alleged incident this past October. Trial is tentatively set to begin July 24, pending the results of a status hearing July 19.
