A road in southwest Lyon County is now closed and could remain shut off for most of the month.
The Lyon County Highway Department has cloed Road A-8 between Roads 147 and 155. A-8 is a minimum maintenance road and needs repairs to a crossroad culvert, but it also must be dry before that project begins.
Weather permitting, this section of Road A-8 will be closed for two weeks.
