An Admire man went to the hospital following a motorcycle-calf crash on Kansas Highway 99 Friday night.
According to Lyon County Deputy James Baker, 37-year-old Justin Gunter of Admire was traveling north in the 2800 block of K99 on a 2004 Kawasaki Volcan just before 10 pm. At the same time, a calf crossed the roadway and passed in front of the Gunter motorcycle.
Gutner was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and later went to Newman Regional Health by private vehicle for observation and possible treatment.
