Emporia State Athletic Director David Spafford is wrapping up his first year at Emporia State.
He was a guest on Saturday Morning Sports Talk on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
He said they are headed in the right direction but there is room to improve.
One area that has improved is scholarships.
There are also plans for facility improvements on the drawing board. Those improvements will be highlighted over the coming days.
