A preliminary hearing is planned Tuesday in a Lyon County attempted murder case.
Travis Wade Westcott faces 15 counts total after alleged activity in October 2022 and again this past May. The lead count is attempted first-degree murder, with a single count of aggravated kidnapping, two counts aggravated battery, nine counts of stalking and single counts of aggravated witness intimidation and criminal threat.
The preliminary hearing is at 1:30 pm before Judge Lee Fowler.
Westcott had been facing a count of aggravated domestic battery after an alleged incident in mid-May, but that charge has been dismissed.
Separately, a man accused of aggravated battery has a hearing in Lyon County District Court on Tuesday.
Adrian Aleman was charged after an alleged incident in April. The hearing is set for 3:30 pm but may be continued with defense counsel set for another hearing.
Aleman has a separate aggravated battery case moving towards trial by late August, based on the current docket. He faces one count in that case as well.
