Potential trial dates are now set in a Lyon County rape case.
The official trial setting could be set as part of a status hearing Aug. 16 in the criminal case against Timothy Ray Davis. Two-day trials could take place Aug. 21-22, Sept.. 25-26 or Oct. 23-24.
Davis is charged with one count of rape and one of aggravated sexual battery, both involving an alleged victim who was incapable of giving consent due to alcohol or drugs as part of an alleged incident in early January. The rape count has an alternate count of aggravated sexual battery.
