Two drug-related cases of note are slated Wednesday in Lyon County District Court, including one set for resolution.
Sentencing is on the docket at 11 am for Terry Don Cummings, who pleaded no contest in May to possessing up to 99 units of fentanyl with intent to distribute.
The other hearing, a preliminary, is set to begin at 9 am. Agustin Vargas is charged with distributing up to 450 grams of marijuana as part of alleged activity in early April. He’s also facing single counts of possessing drug paraphernalia and unlawfully hosting minors consuming alcohol.
Judge Lee Fowler will preside over both hearings.
