5 Emporia Golfers advance to Kansas Junior Golf Tour Championship

The Final Stop on the Kansas Junior Golf tour was played at Wamego Monday.
Emporian Chesney Erkel finished 11th in the boys’ 13-15 age division. Maddex Gurley finished second in the prep division.
The Junior Tour Championship will be played next Monday and Tuesday at Garden Citys Buffalo Dunes. 5 local golfers have qualified.
Avary Eckert is ranked number 1 and Olivia Eckert is number 3 in the girls 16 and over division.
Elise Eckert is tied for 4th place in the girls’ 13-15 age group.
Maddex Gurley is ranked 4th and Leyton Eckert is tied for 8th in the prep division.
