A teenager who recently moved from Missouri to Eureka was killed in a UTV crash over the weekend.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 15-year-old Kenlee Wallace was driving southbound on a gravel road when she lost control of a side-by-side UTV about eight miles southwest of Kirksville on Sunday night. Troopers say the UTV went off the road, overturned and ejected Wallace, who was not wearing a safety restraint.
The Eureka Herald says Wallace was set to begin her sophomore year at Eureka High School.
Funeral services are set for 7 pm Thursday in Kirksville. A graveside service will take place at 10 am Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka. Donations to help Wallace’s family can be sent to Laura Wallace in care of The Eureka Herald, PO Box 590, Eureka, ZIP 67045.
