Earlier this year, Kansas Republicans asked party members to fill out a short survey ahead of the presidential preference primary next spring. A new version is now available.
As was the case in May, the seven-question survey is meant to be a current snapshot of the political climate, including current choice for president among 21 options, top issue facing the country, where respondents consider themselves on the Republican “political spectrum,” main news sources and thoughts on how the state party should adjust.
Kansas Democrats have not announced a similar survey effort. Lyon County Democrats are gearing up for their annual fundraising picnic July 30 featuring state chair Jeanna Repass.
