Play begins at The Basketball Tournament Wichita Regional Wednesday night. The KU Alumni team – Mass Street plays We are D3 at 8 pm at Koch Arena.
Mass Street will include former KU players Brandon Rush, Jamari Taylor, Keith Langford, Marcus and Markieff Morris, Mario Chalmers, Mitch Lightfoot, and Thomas Robinson.
Kansas States alumni team of Purple and Black plays Thursday at 6 pm against Daguys out of St. Louis. Former Kansas State players on the team include Curtis Kelly, Desi Sills, Kamau Stokes, Mike McGuirl, Rodney McGruder, Thomas Gipson, and Martavious Irving.
The After Shocks, made up of Wichita State alumni open against B1 Ballers Thursday at 8 pm. Former Shockers on the team include Connor Frankamp, Garrett Stutz, and Markis McDuffie.
Other teams in the tournament include: Team Arkansas, Beale Street (Memphis), Broad Street Birds (Temple), Show Me Squad (Missouri), and Vegas Rebellion (UNLV).
The regional final will be played Tuesday.
