At the 113th Kansas Amateur Match Play Championship golf tournament after two rounds of stroke play Emporian Gentry Scheve was tied for 10th at 6 under par. He will be the only Emporia Golfer to advance to match play.
Caleb Schmid finished with a plus 3 just missed advancing to match play. Brooks Sauder finished at plus 12.
Gentry will play Ryan Bender of Manhattan in the first round of match play Thursday.
