Traffic signal poles are coming to a major work zone in Emporia this week.
According to City of Emporia Communications Manager Christine Torrens, the Kansas Department of Transportation’s contractor will be setting traffic signal poles at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Prairie Street beginning Monday. Work on Sixth is expected to continue for approximately two weeks, weather dependent.
