The CareArc Board of Directors has approved an application for a new capital improvement grant.
Board members approved the application for the two-to-one match grant through the Community Care Network of Kansas during their regular meeting Tuesday afternoon. According to CareArc CEO Renee Hively, the health center can ask for up to $100,000 with the grant and she says the health center has a “wishlist” of projects that could benefit from the funding if it is granted.
Hively says the request for proposals will go live either late this week or early next week. A timeline for when the health center may learn the status of the application is pending.
In other business Tuesday, the board also approved a Service Area Competition grant and budget and received the monthly financial report. According to said report, the health center had a net gain of just over $107,000 for the month of June which was favorable to a projected net loss of $26,000.
The CareArc Board of Directors will next convene on Tuesday, August 22 inside of the health center and via Zoom.
