Emporia High graduate Avary Eckert can add one more accomplishment before she heads off to college.
On Tuesday, Eckert won the 16-and-over division of the Kansas Junior Golf Tour Championship at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City.
Eckert finished with a two-day total of 155, winning the championship by two strokes over Alexa Garrett. Eckert shot a 74 in round one and had an 81 in the final round.
Eckert helped Emporia High finish second in the Class 5A state golf championship last fall and finished fourth at state. She was also a two-time Centennial League champion.
Eckert will be continuing her golf career at Missouri Southern.
Olivia Eckert finished fifth in the girls 16 and over division.
In the prep division, Leyton Eckert finished third and Maddex Gurley finished eighth. Elise Eckert finished fifth in the girls 13-15 division.
