A Lyon County criminal case is on the Kansas Supreme Court’s docket later this year.
Crista Hinostroza is appealing jury convictions two years ago for trafficking contraband into a correctional facility, criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and interference with law enforcement after an alleged incident in December 2020. Hinostroza is citing insufficient evidence to determine guilt as the main reason for the appeal.
Hinostroza is on the Kansas Supreme Court docket at 10:30 am Sept. 12.
