An Arizona resident is in custody following a traffic stop in Osage County early Saturday morning.
According to Sheriff Chris Wells, a deputy initiated the stop at Interstate 35 milepost 165 near Melvern just after 3:50 am for an alleged traffic violation. During the stop, illegal narcotics were allegedly found inside the vehicle driven by 59-year-old John Titsworth of Arizona City, Arizona.
Titsworth was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Titsworth is being held at the Osage County Jail with formal charges pending at last word.
