Winning an event once at the Lyon County Fair is a pretty neat deal. Winning two times, including twice in a row? Even better.
But back-to-back-to-back-to-back? That’s in a realm all its own — and that’s what Clara Patterson did at the 4-H cat show Friday night.
On top of that, Patterson has won all four times with the same cat: Pumpkin. Patterson says Pumpkin’s “pretty well trained” by now.
Patterson also tells KVOE News there’s a pretty easy recipe for success.
Patterson hasn’t decided whether Pumpkin will retire from fair competitions yet — or whether she and Pumpkin will give it another go next year.
