A diversion agreement and sentencing have concluded the criminal case involving a burglary of the old Cedar Point School.
Kathryn Culbert accepted a six-month diversion agreement, including payment of nearly $1,400 in court costs and fines. If the agreement is broke, Culbert would face trial and would not have a chance to present new evidence on guilt or innocence.
Co-defendant Jacobsen Eells was sentenced to two years of probation with a 16-month underling prison term in case of probation violations. Eells also has 12 months of postrelease supervision.
Both were charged with burglary of a non-dwelling, theft and other counts after an alleged incident at the school in late January.
