Job Summary
Join The Sweet Granada team as a Candy Making Production Assistant developing and creating gourmet confections for our busy downtown Emporia location as well as wholesale and corporate accounts. We are seeking a friendly & motivated individual who feels at home in a fast-paced environment. If you are a team player that possesses a willingness to learn about candy-making techniques and is looking for a position with growth potential we would love to speak with you!
Summary of essential job functions

Developing and creating gourmet confections using traditional, handmade methods.

Daily cleaning and organizing of workspace to comply with FDA regulations.
Minimum requirements
-
Prior cooking, baking, and/or chocolate-making experience a plus. Have the ability to read and follow recipes.

Ability to lift & maneuver up to 50lbs & stand for long periods at a time.

Have no known food allergies and be at least 18 years of age.
Abilities required
-
A successful candidate will be an efficient, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Goal-driven applicants will need to demonstrate an ability to work independently. Should be comfortable with multi-tasking and following instructions.
Schedule
-
Flexible schedule Monday-Fridays 8 am – 5 pm and available some holidays.
