A wind shift led to a planned burn briefly going out of control in northwest Lyon County on Tuesday.
The fire was reported in the 200 block of West Fourth in Bushong. Allen-Admire Fire Chief Tharon Mott says a brush pile fire went out of control after a change in wind direction.
The fire burned less than an acre and no structures were damaged. Americus Fire also responded.
