Emporia’s Stormont-Vail Health operation at Newman Regional Health has a new obstetrician and gynecologist on board.
Dr. Megan Northup, a Kansas City native, got her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She also accepted a US Navy scholarship and spent several years in active duty at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, where she finished her internship and residency requirements.
Northup joins Cotton O’Neil Obstetrics and Gynecology. She will join fellow doctors Deshala Castile, Christina Faulkner and David Kemp on the staff.
