Road work south of Hartford is set to begin next week.
The Lyon County Highway Department will begin asphalt work on Road Y5 on Monday, weather permitting. Work will take place during the daylight hours and should be complete by Thursday.
During the work, a pilot car will direct one-lane traffic through the work zone and the intersection of Y5 and Road 90 will be closed to thru traffic during daylight hours Monday through Thursday.
