A Council Grove man wrecked near Americus on Friday and was taken to Emporia for treatment afterward.
Lyon County Deputy Fernando Zuniga says the crash at Roads 200 and F-5 happened around 3:10 pm. The driver, 32-year-old Jesse Higginbotham, says the front right tire of his pickup hit loose gravel, causing him to overcorrect. The truck rolled as a result.
Higginbotham went to Newman Regional Health for unspecified injuries.
