Nominations are now being accepted for the Coolest Thing Made in Kansas contest.
The event comes courtesy of the Kansas Manufacturing Council and FORVIS. Starting in 2020, the contest is designed to promote both Kansas businesses and their products.
Hometown Pie Company of New Strawn won the 2021 contest. Fanestil’s Party Time Ham advanced into the second round of last year’s People’s Choice competition.
This year’s competition features two categories, People’s Choice and Coolest Innovation. Nominations are due by Aug. 30. Winners will be announced at the Kansas Manufacturing Summit on Oct. 24 in Wichita.
