Community members got an opportunity to meet new Emporia High football coach Kaden Glinsmann Wednesday night.
The Emporia High football team held a fundraiser at Gambino’s Pizza where people could grab dinner and get an opportunity to meet Glinsmann.
Glinsmann says he’s fortunate about the turnout that came out and meet him.
Glinsmann says this summer has had great numbers of players participating in voluntary workouts and even summer weights.
Emporia High begins practice on Monday. The Spartans will be competing in a jamboree at Wichita Heights on August 25 and have a full community scrimmage featuring youth, middle schoolers, and high schoolers at 3:30 p.m. on August 26 at EHS.
The Spartans kick off their season on September 1 at home against Pittsburg.
