It will now be Friday before repairs are completed at Ninth and West.
The intersection had a notable water main failure Tuesday. The initial plan was to make final repairs Thursday before the city announced a change in plan. A reason was not given.
The city says water service will be affected between 7 am and 5 pm — and it says residents who may have interruptions have received special door-hanging notices to that effect. The Ninth and West intersection will remain closed to traffic until Friday’s repairs are done.
