Another year and another Jones Aquatic Center swim season in the books.
The 2023 summer swim season came to a close Sunday afternoon with a combination event. First up was the annual Fiesta swim where local residents had their final chance to jump into the pool until next year.
JAC Manager Jennifer Wegener says they saw a great turnout for this year’s Fiesta.
Once again, the annual pooch plunge drew a great crowd of pet owners and their four-legged furry friends. Wegener says this is always a great event for both families with pets and for those whose pets are their family.
Along with swimming, Sunday’s activities included raffle drawings and several local organizations on hand providing samples of pet food and supplies to those in attendance.
