Construction continues on the south side of Flinthills Mall with a new tenant coming this fall.
The mall has already confirmed the incoming presence of the California-based Harbor Freight. The retail store will occupy the former Sears and Food 4 Less space, most recently used last year by Spirit Halloween.
Harbor Freight says it plans to bring as many as 30 new jobs as part of its new store, including permanent and seasonal employment. Work is now underway inside the store, with related work to make the nearby parking lot handicapped-accessible to be completed before the store opens its doors to the public.
An official open date will be announced later.
