With the school year officially underway for USD 253 Emporia students, the Boy Scouts of America Jayhawk Council has announced the schedule for its annual Cub Scout sign-up events.
School Night to Join Scouting will take place Aug. 28 at all the district’s elementary schools. There will be a staggered schedule, depending on the school. The schedule can be found below.
Parents can register their children, boys and girls, for Cub Scouts if they are between kindergarten and fifth grade. Parents and children can also learn more about Cub Scout programs and events.
