A motions hearing in a Lyon County rape case has been pushed to mid-September.
Gerald Travis Todd was initially set for a hearing Thursday, but Todd’s defense team says it has ended a process of securing an expert witness and needs time for that person to do an evidence review.
Todd is accused of illegal sexual activity with a victim incapable of giving consent. He’s facing two counts of rape and four of aggravated criminal sodomy.
Trial is tentatively set for Oct. 16-20, with a status hearing Oct. 11.
