Notable blues rock band Levee Town was the latest group to grace the Emporia Granada stage Saturday evening.
Based in Kansas City, Missouri, Levee Town is the current house band at the world-famous Knuckleheads Saloon and has recorded ten albums since forming in 2002. The band has also shared the same stage as Grammy award-winning blues guitarist Buddy Guy, country music legend David Allan Coe and five-time Grammy nominee Kenny Wayne Shepherd among others.
Levee Town was just the first of several upcoming performers as part of the Granada’s fall concert season. Up next for the theatre will be the Ozark Mountain Devils on September 29 at 7 pm.
