Several residential water service customers lost water for over four hours Sunday.
The break in the 800 block of Market was reported around 9 am. An 8-inch diameter line failed. The city says service was restored before 2 pm.
Residents along Market between Seventh and 10th were impacted.

Underground Utilities are in the early investigative stages of finding and repairing a water main break in the 800 block of Market. City Communications Manager Christine Torrens says this will affect water service on Market from Seventh to 10th, possibly into the afternoon hours.
