Lyon County Commissioners will consider procedural policies, travel requests and change orders as part of their regular action meeting Thursday morning.
Up first on the agenda will be a request from Lyon County Area Transportation Director Shane Brunner to approve the LCAT Title VI complaint procedures and limited English proficiency plan. Lyon County Assistant Engineer Jim Brull will then submit a request for County Engineer Chip Woods and Seth Snyder to attend the MINK Conference in St. Joseph, Missouri September 12-13 with related travel expenses to be paid through the Lyon County Road and Bridge Fund.
Commissioners will then consider approving a change order for demolition and repair work on a section of Prairie Street for new waterline work totaling $11,095.18. Lyon County District Court Administrator Ruth Wheeler will also present a proposal for a security door on the south end of the third-floor hallway in the courthouse for a total of $18,446.
Two executive sessions are also planned.
