A man accused in Lyon County District Court of rape and child sex exploitation is now set for pretrial and arraignment.
Travis Dean Iverson faces one count of rape and 12 of sex exploitation, even as prosecutors gained approval to add a second alleged victim as part of a preliminary hearing Thursday. Judge Laura Miser also approved a state motion to add one count of aggravated indecent liberties as an alternate to the rape count, according to Assistant County Attorney Carissa Brinker.
Iverson is accused of illegal activity a child currently under the age of three, with illegal activity from March 2022 until his arrest this past May.
The pretrial is at 2 pm Oct. 20. Iverson might learn his potential trial dates at that hearing.
