Court proceedings in an Emporia shooting case will resume late this fall.
As part of a pretrial hearing Friday in the case against Shedrick Williams, prosecutors were told to provide Williams’ defense counsel with copies of medical records for the alleged victim in the case, Harold Stewart. A new pretrial hearing date was set for Dec. 7 before Judge Lee Fowler.
Williams was allegedly involved in a shooting at the Eastgate Apartment Complex in July 2022. He’s charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated battery and burglary. Stewart survived the incident.
