The Kansas Shrine Bowl announced Monday the head coaches for the 51st annual Kansas Shrine Bowl which will be played on June 28, 2024, at Welch Stadium.
Wamego’s Weston Moody will be the head coach of the East team, while McPherson’s Jace Pavlovich will be the head coach of the West team.
Moody is entering his sixth season as the head coach at Wamego. Moody guided the Red Raiders to their first state championship game appearance in 2022.
Pavlovich is entering his ninth season as the head coach at McPherson. Pavlovich enters this season with 72 career wins, which is tied for most in program history.
Moody and Pavlovich were selected from the group of assistant coaches in the 2022 edition of the Shrine Bowl which is determined by a vote from the previous coaching staff, camp directors, trainers, and managers.
Emporia will play host to the game for the first time since 2016 and sixth time overall.
