After winning the AVCTL Preseason Tournament in Newton, the Emporia High volleyball team will play the first of four home dates on Thursday.
The Lady Spartans are hosting a quad and will take on Topeka High, Junction City, and Topeka West.
Senior Ryan Peak says the Lady Spartans are confident after their 4-1 performance at Newton.
Peak added they’re excited to play in front of their home fans.
Matches will begin at 5 p.m. at Emporia High. Emporia High will face Topeka High first, followed by Topeka West and Junction City.
Along with the Lady Spartans playing their quad, the Emporia High boys soccer team hosts Maize South. Kickoff is set for 6:15 p.m. at the EHS turf field.
