Newman Regional Health’s Board of Trustees will discuss contracts at its monthly meeting Wednesday.
Board members could approve a contract with Emporia Anesthesia Associates as recommended by the hospital’s Finance Committee. Terms have not been divulged.
Monthly reports on finances, quality, workforce development and operations are also planned, along with one executive session on peer review and risk management matters.
The meeting starts at 3:30 pm at the hospital’s Conference Center.
Before the meeting starts, the hospital will formally say farewell to departing Chief Executive Officer Bob Wright, who is retiring after leading Newman Regional Health for nearly a decade with current Chief Administrative Officer Cathy Pimple in the process of becoming the hospital’s new CEO. The retirement gathering is from 11-1 pm.
