It was a clean sweep for the Emporia High volleyball team Thursday night.
The Lady Spartans went 3-0 in the quad defeating Topeka High (25-16, 25-13), Topeka West (25-8, 25-15) and Junction City (25-8, 25-8).
Junior Sadie Rethman says it feels good to have some early success.
Coach Ping Wang says there were two things the Lady Spartans have worked on since their 4-1 performance at Newton last weekend.
Emporia High is now 7-1 on the season. They’ll travel to Topeka to face Hayden and Topeka High at Hayden on Tuesday.
