US Senator Jerry Moran will be busy with stops in the KVOE listening area Friday.
Moran will tour Flint Hills Technical College beginning at 11:15 am. He will then attend and speak at the groundbreaking ceremonies for Secure Semiconductor Manufacturing, the multi-billion-dollar chip component facility, at 1 pm at the Coffey County Airport outside Burlington.
Moran recently recognized the one-year anniversary of the Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics, or PACT Act, for veterans and military service personnel. The Department of Veterans Affairs has received more than 840,000 related claims over the past 12 months.
