A water main break in northwest Emporia has been repaired.
Contract crews were called out to 23rd and Hillcrest shortly before 5 pm. City staffers reported the break as fixed by 8:30 pm.
Other incident details have not been announced.

After Emporia Public Works spent much of Thursday morning and early afternoon fixing water main breaks in west Emporia, contract crews are working on a break in northwest Emporia.
A water main break was reported at 23rd and Hillcrest around 5 pm. The break and related repairs may affect customers on Hillcrest from 23rd to Prairie. Additional details are pending.
Public Works were called to two breaks in relatively close proximity to each other Thursday morning, one at Ninth and Woodland just before 7 am and another in the 900 block of Sunnyslope around 9:30 am.
