A man who accepted a plea agreement in Lyon County District Court on aggravated burglary and aggravated domestic battery charges will spend over four years in prison.
Matthew Schroeder was sentenced to 52 months in prison for the aggravated burglary charge. The sentence for the aggravated domestic battery count will be served concurrently, or at the same time. Schroeder will also have three years of post-release supervision.
Schroeder was initially accused of attempted murder and aggravated kidnapping, in addition to the two counts for which he was sentenced, following an incident in mid-October. Those charges were dismissed when the plea agreement was finalized in July.
